But I don't often hack on other computers because I don't need to. I usually compile stuff on my own workstation (servers are mostly for reading mail and related things). Plus, the servers often don't have the development headers anyway. (Or the workstations, for that matter. It's highly infuriating to sit by a SGI O2 workstation and notice it doesn't have GLUT so I really can't toy with it without learning Motif or something equally silly...) Well well, I'm rambling. So, you want to *hack* the other machine, as in cracking it? Nay, that's not that easy. Lad, you're on dangerous waters. ::grabs the d00d from the ear:: Naughty boy, you should know already that learning the computer security is mostly "learn by doing". If you really want to build a secure system, follow security bulletins. If you want to break into some place, you're *definitely* on your own - no one is there to help you and asking questions like this will only draw attention on your scrawny neck. So shut up. ::drags the d00d outside. A single rifleshot can be heard from the backyard...:: -- $_='%?&%[=&+=?%=[%&+&%[*?]&=&~[;&+&{=?[?&%&[&{[%&^=?=[&%&]=?%~&~[?&+&~YiFF! =[=~| Weyfour WWWWolf (aka.
