Weiforu the Samurai

This game started well. I got decent armor, and didn't fall for stupid things like fountains.

I ran into a room full of hill orcs... and they blinded me temporarily. I fired at them with wand of magic missile. Meanwhile, they were organized to a neat queue, and advancing (they even threw daggers to each other's back that way...). Then, my /WoMM got out of charges. I threw it away, drew my katana, and... banzai! (Insert more clichés from aXÖn movies if you will)

I rarely run into situation that looks like both the lobby scene from The Matrix and the *BSD "robots" game. =)

Got further a few levels. More Action Series Clichés: Here's where I left before I saved. I have one ya in the quiver and... umm...

"Oh, dear! Our intrepid heroes were left to a tricky situation. What will happen to Weiforu and his dog Shippo? The answer on the Same Katana-Channel on the Same Katana-Time!"

(Messed up the colors a bit, intentionally... the level was a lot larger than that, of course.)

You knew this was going to happen? The cliffhanger situation above was easy. I got both the cockatrice and the hovering bulb on my line of fire and blasted away with my /WoMM (I like it when I got second one after the first one so dramatically expired in the orc battle =)

That level had a throne room (judging from the noise) so I escaped upstairs, killed some more critters, and somehow ended up to the Delphi. I bought some stuff from the store I found. (-1 Helm of Brilliance =(, some ID scrolls (late, as usual), and food).

Got to the mines. First level was easy. In the second level, the dwarves had hidden a really nasty magic trap to one really dark and complicated corner. All of sudden: *flash* hey, where am I? I can't see a thing! Who's hugging me? My, you're big and handsome furry guy, nice to meet you... *CRRRRRRUSSSH*

So much for that relationship. =(
