Wolf Head of Self-Repair

One of the cutest moments in computer gaming, for me, was running into a rather curious Diablo II item: a Wolf Head of Self-Repair.

Normal, live wolf heads, of course, repair themselves. That is a rather obvious and cute and nurturing concept. Dead wolf heads do not repair themselves and get ruined. So here we have a dead wolf head that self-repairs! Even in death, it always remains cute, no matter how battered it gets! Awww.

However, I am a little bit worried about the wolf heads that are repaired normally through the blacksmith. I hope they don’t really use what the icons suggest and use hammers to fix wolf heads? There’s no point in hitting a wolf head with a hammer! I hope they just patch the head up and give it a good pat. Aww.
