Happy bonuses

A lot of people buy very serious pieces of hardware, such as computers and printers. These things have some very serious uses.

What gives me hope in humanity is that often, these serious things have very happy additional features. Apple computers come with iLife which lets people make happy music and happy videos. Printers often come with software that let people print happy birthday cards and invitations to carnivals and things like that.

All that stuff just tells me that people aren’t all about seriousness. They often just want to have fun. And that is a very comforting thought.
