We here believe in web standards, and we won't allow anyone to put stuff here without at least trying to promise to exercise the HTML validation muscles. This site uses pure, validated XHTML.
However, personally I cannot say that all of this will work perfectly. I don't use very hard ECMAScript gimmicks here, so there probably won't be too many DOM errors or script-related incompatibilities. CSS, then, is another chapter - I cannot, and will not, make sure CSS will work perfectly universally. Netscape 4.x users may find this bad, but my best recommendation for them - in general, not just regarding this site - is to turn the CSS off!
These pages have been extensively tested with both Lynx and Mozilla, and they seem to be pretty usable with both. As I do not use Microsoft Internet Explorer (with no support for platform of my choice), I have not seen it with that, but people have reported the pages do work. Opera users have also reported success.
